Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday

The Florida Revenue Service’s 2019 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday begins May 31, 2019 and ends June 6, 2019.

The bill was passed by Florida legislature and signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis to urge and assist members of the community to prepare for natural disasters that frequent the Florida coast.

During the sales tax holiday, qualifying items related to disaster preparedness are exempt from sales tax.
